Currently, 10 laboratories in the country have the ability to perform metabolic tests, one of which is Hope Generation Medical Institute. After passing the detailed audits of the Ministry of Health in 2018, this laboratory was recognized as qualified to perform metabolic screening tests in the form of a national plan, and it receives a large number of samples from Iran and Alborz University of Medical Sciences on a daily basis. The blood samples of these babies are referred to the laboratory of Hope Generation Medical Institute so that after the screening, the process of referral to a specialist doctor and treatment procedures can be carried out.
